No follow-up audit of public broadcasting
The Netherlands Court of Audit informed the House of Representatives by letter of 6 April 2023 that it would not honour a request by the State Secretary for Culture and Media to carry out a follow-up audit of the efficiency of public broadcasting.
The state secretary had requested a follow-up audit by letter of 21 February 2023 after she had told the House she would request one during a debate on 28 November 2022.
The Court explains in its letter why it will not honour the request.
