EU Trend Report 2016: What do EU funds achieve? More input from member states needed

On the publication of the EU Trend Report 2016, the Netherlands Court of Audit argued that, with 80% of the EU budget being spent in the member states, the individual countries should do more to show what EU funds achieve.

The 14th edition of this annual report contains reflections on the future of EU funding and outlines developments in the regularity and effectiveness of the European Union’s revenue and expenditure.
