Comments on OCW’s 2015 budget
The Court of Audit has sent a letter to the House of Representatives with comments on the budget of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW). It notes that background knowledge is required for a full understanding of how education is financed.
In particular, more information is required on the use of additional funds and on the realisation and consequences of spending cuts on culture. The Court also observed there were opportunities to increase the lead taken in the field of open data and provides a summary of the follow-up to its previous recommendations.
