Greater stability and modest improvements in ICT systems in the police service
Court of Audit warns that system renewal is at risk
The police service has made progress in the field of ICT. Measures have been taken to improve the stability and effectiveness of the two main ICT systems, which support 80% of the service’s work in the areas of law enforcement and detection. Police officers’ appreciation of the user friendliness of the system that supports law enforcement has risen from 5.9 to 6.3. But it is high time to renew the systems. These findings are presented in a report issued by the Court of Audit on ICT systems in the police service in general and the law enforcement and detection systems in particular.
