Report on the modernisation of the Tax and Customs Administration
The Netherlands Court of Audit published an audit report entitled State of the Tax and Customs Administration’s Investment Agenda on 11 October 2017. The report is a follow-up to earlier reports on the Administration’s modernisation programme.
The report presents figures to quantify the delays encountered until the middle of this year. It also considers the reform documents that the State Secretary for Finance sent to the House of Representatives on Budget Day and the incumbent government’s proposal to provide additional funding through the Ministry of Finance’s 2018 budget.
The State Secretary responded to the Court of Audit’s findings, conclusions and recommendations.
