House of Representatives follows Court of Audit’s recommendation for extraordinary Board member
The House of Representatives adopted a list of three candidates for extraordinary membership of the Netherlands Court of Audit’s Board on 26 November 2019 and decided that the first person named on the list would be appointed by Royal Decree.
The House thus agreed with the order in which the Court had proposed the candidates. The preferred candidate on the list was Ms J.M.A. (Hanny) Kemna, followed by Professor C.A.R. (Cocky) Hilhorst and Ms G. (Gisella) van Vollenhoven-Eikelenboom.
The Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations will now take the measures necessary to formalise the appointment.
The Court of Audit currently has three Board members and two extraordinary members.
