Letter on the costing systems used by implementing organisations

The House of Representatives has said the costing systems used by implementing organisations will be a ‘focus issue’ that will receive special attention in its scrutiny of the government’s accounts for 2021.

In a letter to the House of Representatives of 29 September 2021, the Netherlands Court of Audit wrote that the systems had been considered in previous audits and explained how they will be considered in future audits.

The next Accountability Audit of central government (which will be issued in May 2022), for instance, will focus on the continuity of the services provided by implementing organisations and the potential impact of interruption on citizens and businesses.

The letter is only available in Dutch.
