Netherlands Court of Audit inaugurates Thesis Prize worth €2,000!
Have you written a master’s or post-master’s thesis between 1 October 2019 and 30 September 2022 on a topic that is relevant to the work of the Netherlands Court of Audit? Submit it no later than 30 September 2022 via english.rekenkamer.nl/thesis-prize and you could win a prize of €2,000, €1,000 or €500. Prizes will be awarded on 16 February 2023.
The Netherlands Court of Audit recognises the importance of good research. That’s why it has inaugurated a prize for the best master’s or post-master’s thesis written at a Dutch university. The thesis must consider a topic of relevance to the Court of Audit. Suitable topics include accountability for public funds, public finance management, auditing, efficacy, evaluation, the gap between policy and implementation and the role of audit institutions in a modern democracy; the efficiency and effectiveness of government policy are also relevant.
Award ceremony on 16 February 2023
Prizes will be awarded at the Court of Audit’s office in The Hague on 16 February 2023. The winner of the first prize will receive €2,000 and a certificate and will be invited to present the winning thesis to the Court of Audit. The second and third prize winners will receive €1,000 and €500 respectively and a certificate.
