Announcement of the Court of Audit’s temporary premises
The Netherlands Court of Audit will be moving to temporary premises at Lange Vijverberg 3 in The Hague in 2026. During the renovation of our historic office complex on Lange Voorhout, we will be working from another address, close to our home for more than 150 years.
Reason for the renovation
The Court of Audit is an organisation with a long history and a great deal has changed in recent decades. In the 1990s it published just 1 audit: the Accountability Audit of central government; in 2025 it will publish more than 50. The organisation’s working methods and size have also grown over the years. This calls for a workplace that supports modern, innovative working methods and that is tailored to the needs of a modern audit institution. The current premises unfortunately do not meet these requirements. We want the location on Lange Voorhout to fulfil its potential as the place where we realise our ambitions to work, learn and innovate with each other. Sustainable and hybrid premises that meet today’s demands and those of the future. This is why the Court of Audit is renovating its historic office complex. The renovation plans have recently been approved. The Court of Audit is closely attached to its premises at Lange Voorhout 8 in The Hague, where it has been located close to the centre of government since 1868. More information on the renovation is available (in Dutch) at Rijksvastgoedbedrijf.
Heritage Day 2025
The Court of Audit is taking part in Heritage Day on Saturday 3 September 2025. This is an opportunity for you to visit our office complex before the renovation. More information on Heritage Day and the Court of Audit’s programme will be available soon at Heritage Days.
