House of Representatives nominates Rob Lelieveld as extraordinary Board member of the Netherlands Court of Audit
The House of Representatives has agreed to the nomination of an extraordinary member of the Netherlands Court of Audit’s Board. The House forwarded a letter regarding the nomination, with Rob Lelieveld at the top, to the Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Affairs on 20 May 2025.
The House of Representatives has agreed to the nomination of an extraordinary member of the Netherlands Court of Audit’s Board. The House forwarded a letter regarding the nomination, with Rob Lelieveld at the top, to the Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Affairs on 20 May 2025.
Number 1 on the nomination list is Mr R.J.W. (Rob) Lelieveld. Mr Lelieveld was previously a supervisory director and former chairman of EY Accountants and member of the board of directors of EY Netherlands.
In accordance with the appointment procedure, the Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations will raise the House’s nomination in the cabinet. Once a decision has been taken, the extraordinary Board member will be appointed by royal decree.
Assisting the Board
Extraordinary Board members may be called upon to assist the Court of Audit’s Board. There is currently a vacancy on the Board because extraordinary member Paul Doop is about to stand down.
The Court of Audit is a High Council of State. Its Board consists of President Pieter Duisenberg and members Ewout Irrgang and Barbara Joziasse. Hanny Kemna is currently an extraordinary member.
