Watch out for phishing emails: @rekenkamer is being misused
Fake emails misusing the name and address details of the Netherlands Court of Audit are currently circulating. The scammers behind these phishing emails are trying to trick you into accepting an offer so that they can steal your data. Don’t fall into their trap!
How to recognise these phishing emails
These emails may ask you, for example, to take part in random controls of spending on procurement contracts awarded by government bodies. Don’t respond to these emails. And never open an attachment or click on a link in them.
Phishing emails often contain one or more of the following features: an incorrect sender, language prompting you to take urgent action, unexpected attachments or links, an impersonal salutation, incorrect or unusual language or links to websites other than https://www.rekenkamer.nl/.

All emails sent by the Court of Audit end in @rekenkamer.nl. Emails from any other addresses have NOT been sent by the Court of Audit.

What to do if you receive a fake email
If you receive an email that you think may be a phishing email, please contact us at voorlichting@rekenkamer.nl and send us the phishing email as an attachment.
What the Court of Audit is doing to prevent phishing
The Court of Audit takes phishing very seriously and continuously monitors email traffic so that scammers are blocked as quickly as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that phishing emails will always be detected. So if you have any doubts about a sender, make sure you don’t click on any links. Instead, contact us directly at voorlichting@rekenkamer.nl.
