The Netherlands Court of Audit regularly audits how the money that the Netherlands receives from and pays to the European Union is spent. We examine whether European subsidies are spent in accordance with the rules and whether they are effective. We also look into what is known about problems in the Netherlands with the implementation of EU regulations. And we assess whether the government properly accounts for how EU funds are spent.
