The Board

The Board of the Court of Audit is currently made up of Pieter Duisenberg (President), Ewout Irrgang and Barbara Joziasse (Board member). Board members are appointed for life. The Board works on the principle of joint responsibility. This means that all decisions are taken jointly by the Board members. Each member of the Board, however, acts as a rapporteur for part of the Court of Audit’s work. The President, moreover, oversees the organisation as a whole.
